Anxiety and Stress management

Anxiety Symptoms

Anxiety is a general term for several disorders that cause nervousness, fear, apprehension, & worry; often comes from a place of fear - is a normal response to fears.

Presented: Excessive worries, insomnia, panic attacks, increased hart rate, sweating, poor concentration among other feelings.

Stress Symptoms

Stress is primarily a physical response to various situations - based on regular thinking patterns, beliefs, previous experiences & information.

Presented psychological and physiological responses including, fear, body aches,muscle tension, sadness insomnia, anxiety, anger and confusion, digestion symptoms & others.

Depression and Trauma/PTSD

Depression Symptoms

Thoughts - Indecisiveness, poor concentration, confusion, self-criticism, poor memory, suicide idealization & other destructive ideas. Emotional: Sadness, anxiety, anger or irritability, hopelessness or helplessness, guilt, mood swings, loss of pleasure in daily activities. Physical: Unexpected change in sleep patterns, body aches -headaches, stomach problems, chest pain, lack of energy, chronic fatigue. Behaviour: Change eating, overeating or loss of appetite, fidgeting, pacing, sluggish than usual, increased restlessness, withdrawal from others, crying, sadness, loneliness and other negative feelings.

Trauma/PTSD - Trauma- Is a form of acute stress disorder that persists for more than one month resulted from a crisis or emotional experience. PTSD is a mental disorder characterized by multiple symptoms, Richard, B. (2007). Approaches we use including, inner child healing therapy, CBT, SFBT, Narrative and more. Couples Conflict Resolution

Couple relationship conflicts related stress, divorce/separation conflicts, interpersonal conflicts, peer relationship conflicts, and others conflicts. If you are have similar symptoms- you will benefit from this counselling. ACT is one of the best method I used in similar cases.

Individuals Therapy

Individual Counselling/Psychotherapy

The aim of this support is to help individuals learn how to navigate their challenges and reach their dreams/goals. We work with client through learning their behavioural, communication, thought and relational patterns.

By accessing this virtual and affordable mental health services, clients also save time and avoid the stress of travelling.

We work with clients experiencing various concerns and facing conflicts.

What you expected: commonly, the first session is an intake session to understand the client's concerns. Often in this session, we use therapeutic methods that best fit the client's needs, including ACT, CBT, and other approaches.

Couples Counseling

Relationship therapy helps couples to communicate their feelings and needs to each other without fear of being criticized or attacked.

Accessing couples therapy doesn't necessarily mean there's an ongoing crisis in the relationship. To have a long-lasting, satisfactory relationship, many couples opt for counselling. This is a way to meet each other in a safe, non-judgemental space as equals and strengthen their relationship and friendship overall. In couples counselling/therapy, the focus is on creating a safe environment where both partners have the right to communicate openly and share their feelings without fear of being judged or attacked.

Couples counselling can last anywhere from a few weeks to years, depending on each couple's situation. Suggested tips - to get a sense of how couples counselling benefits your relationship, an important suggestion is to attend at least three or more sessions. Then assess whether the counselling is making a difference in your relationship with your partner and see if both are on the path to achieving your initial expected goals.

SUPPORT YOU EXPECT IN COUPLES RELATIONSHIP THERAPY

Couples counselling, can help resolve relationship problems by focusing on the following:

Intake assessment: Understanding main issues, priorities/goals to improve couples relationships. Review safety issues and others main issues.

Managing the source of conflicts: Sometimes couple members face unresolved traumas, preventing them forming a healthy and flexible relationship with their partners. This can create tensions in the relation.

Lack of communication: If you and your partner have grown apart, you are unlikely to communicate your wants, needs, fears and others, with each other.

Lack of trust: If you and your partner have mistrust issues for infidelities or other reasons, you will not be able to communicate in a health. We offer support to help couple by facilitating open, respectful communication so that both of partners are aware of each other’s true feelings and intentions.

Intimacy issues: Once you and your partner grow apart, it is difficult to develop a strong attachment bond. Even if bot are able to get some moments of romantic privacy, might not going to enjoy them. Couples counselling can help you by taking you back to being a couple and forming a lasting romantic relationship.

Major life changes: Transitions issues such as suffering the loss of a family member or expecting your first child sometimes causes your relationship to experience changes. Couples counselling can help you get through these challenges and find new ways to work together in your relationship
